Queen Elizabeth II has passed away at the age of 96. The Buckingham Palace confirmed in a statement yesterday, 8th September 2022.

The Queen was at the Balmoral Castle, her estate in the Scottish Highlands when she passed peacefully.

She was the longest reigning British Monarch and reigned for 70 years.
