According to an official letter issued by Nana Bediatuo Asante, Dr. Tenkorang was directed to transfer his responsibilities to Kofi Bosompem Osafo-Maafo by Monday, April 15, 2024. The letter, referencing Dr. Tenkorang’s appointment letter from July 1, 2019, outlined the termination of his appointment effective April 15, 2024, with three months’ salary provided in lieu of notice.
In the directive, Dr. Tenkorang was instructed to facilitate a smooth handover process to Mr. Osafo-Maafo and proceed to collect any entitled terminal benefits. The President conveyed gratitude for Dr. Tenkorang’s service to the nation while extending best wishes for his future endeavors.
