Ghanaian Media Personality Nana Aba Anamoah Slams Politicians, Calls for Change
During a live discussion on 3 Music TV on February 15, 2024, Nana Aba Anamoah didn’t mince words when she criticized the majority of politicians in Ghana, branding them as “senseless and unpatriotic.” In a bold statement, she claimed that only a mere 8% of politicians in the country are sensible and hardworking.
According to Nana Aba, the remaining politicians are simply in it for personal gain, seeking to exploit the state and line their own pockets. “I’m looking at some of our politicians. I think we have only 8% of the politicians in Ghana who are sensible. Across the board, only 8%. The rest of them are just there, not by dint of hard work, not because they are so passionate about this country. They just see the opportunity to milk the state. And they are doing everything possible to get there. They’re the loud ones, always insulting,” she asserted.
Despite her scathing critique, Nana Aba emphasized her desire to focus on positive changes occurring in the country rather than dwelling on negativity. “But I believe we can do better. Things are changing, and that’s why I appreciate this generation because it is an improvement over our previous one,” she remarked.
