Nana Ama Mcbrown, a popular Ghanaian actress and TV host, has spoken up about how she manages public criticism and harsh comments.

McBrown claimed during an interview on TV3’s Day Show with Berla Mundi that she has been on television for 22 years and has learnt not to let people’s words hurt her.

McBrown has been a fixture on Ghanaian television since the late 1990s, thanks to her vibrant personality and engaging approach.

She has hosted various successful TV programmes over the years, including the popular conversation show “The McBrown’s Kitchen” and, more recently, “Onua Showtime with Mcbrown.”

McBrown was asked how she handles unfavorable public comments and criticism during an interview with Berla Mundi.

She responded by saying she has grown a thick skin over the years and has learnt to focus on the positive feedback she receives from her followers.

“Berla I am a grown woman who has been on television for 22 years and is about to enter her 23rd. I don’t believe anything someone says correctly should bother me. As a result, I rarely respond to matters in which my name is mentioned. There are some things I just brush off. “I have problems, some of which are family problems, but I don’t let them affect me,” she explained.

According to her, most of her detractors were unaware of who she was, thus she paid little heed to the verbal insults and aspersions directed at her on the Internet.

“They don’t know what they’re talking about, they don’t know who I am, and they don’t know what they’re talking about.” To be honest, the good, wise, and real individuals will not attack me in this manner. They can accuse me of not doing anything correctly, but it’s as if they’re tuning me to get it right, she explained. “I understand and agree, but if you make it look so hateful, that means you have a problem,” she added.

McBrown has already discussed the value of having a solid support system, both emotionally and professionally. She attributes her ability to stay grounded and focused on her work goals to her husband, Maxwell Mensah, and her family.

McBrown’s interview comes at a time when she has been vilified and ridiculed by other media celebrities and fans after leaving UTV and joining Media General in what has been dubbed “the biggest media move of the decade.”

Despite this, McBrown stays upbeat and focused on her objectives. She believes that everyone can achieve success in their chosen industry with hard effort, persistence, and a positive attitude.
