King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse, has declared that the Greater Accra Region will be a decisive factor in Ghana’s 2024 elections. He made this assertion during a visit from Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of the New Force Movement, who sought the King’s blessing for his regional tour.
Labeling the upcoming election as the most crucial in the history of the 4th Republic, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II called for a peaceful and respectful campaign season, urging unity among all political parties. He emphasized the importance of active citizen participation to ensure that their voices are heard and their concerns addressed.
During his visit, Nana Kwame Bediako pledged to promote peace and unity through his campaign efforts. His commitment aligns with the Ga Mantse’s vision of a collaborative and harmonious political environment.
In related news, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Communications Director for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s Campaign Team, expressed confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s chances in the 2024 elections. Speaking in an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Channels One TV in Accra, Aboagye highlighted the electorate’s readiness to give Dr. Bawumia an opportunity to lead the country.
“The Ghanaian electorate is ready to allow Dr. Bawumia to showcase his leadership capabilities,” Aboagye stated. He noted that Mr. Mahama, Dr. Bawumia’s main rival, had already been given a chance to lead the country, and now citizens believe it is Dr. Bawumia’s turn to demonstrate his vision and abilities for Ghana’s future.
