Alan Kyerematen Takes Aim at Vice President Bawumia, Questions Ability to Lead Ghana’s Economic Revival
In a bold challenge to Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, the visionary leader behind the Movement for Change, has sparked controversy by asserting that Bawumia is “exhausted” and devoid of fresh ideas to address Ghana’s economic challenges.
In an upcoming interview on TV3, Kyerematen pulls no punches, declaring, “Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is tired. There is nothing new he can do, and that is a fact.”
Having departed from the New Patriotic Party to establish the Movement for Change in September 2023, Kyerematen is not mincing words when cautioning Ghanaians against placing their trust in Vice President Bawumia’s pledges.
Kyerematen challenges the notion that Bawumia’s tenure as Vice President has equipped him with the innovation necessary to tackle Ghana’s economic woes. He rejects the idea that the roles of Vice Presidency and Presidency are separate entities, instead characterizing them as a “combined ticket.”
