Tariq Lamptey receives a Porsche car as a reward for earning the award of Brighton Player of the Month.

Brighton & Hove Albion defender, Tariq Lamptey, received a prestigious reward after being named the club’s Player of the Month for October.

The talented Ghana international put in exceptional performances during the previous month, shining in both the Premier League and Europa League matches for the Seagulls.

Lamptey’s outstanding contributions earned him the coveted title of Brighton’s Player of the Month for October, and this accolade came with a delightful surprise. The Premier League club’s Player of the Month award is sponsored by Porsche, and the winners have the unique privilege of selecting a Porsche vehicle of their choice.

There’s a catch, though. The Player of the Month is granted access to the chosen Porsche vehicle for a limited period of 48 hours before it must be returned. In light of his recent achievement, Lamptey opted for a Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex and will enjoy the luxury ride for the next 48 hours.

Despite this exciting development, Lamptey is currently sidelined due to injury and has missed several of his team’s recent matches. He was also unable to participate in Ghana’s international friendlies against Mexico and the United States of America (USA) last month.

Regrettably, his absence is expected to continue, potentially affecting his participation in the Black Stars’ upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros. Chris Hughton’s squad is set to commence their World Cup qualifying journey with a match against Madagascar in Kumasi on November 17, followed by an away fixture against Comoros just four days later.
