Stephen Blewett Assumes CEO Role at MTN Ghana, Charting Course for Ambition 2025 Strategy

In a strategic move to propel MTN Ghana towards its ambitious growth targets, Stephen Blewett has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Selorm Adadevoh, who transitions to the role of Chief Commercial Officer within the MTN Group.

Blewett’s ascension to the CEO position follows his successful tenure as the MTN Operations Executive for Markets, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational acumen. With a wealth of experience in telecommunications, Blewett rejoined MTN in July 2023, overseeing operations in the Group’s smaller West and Central Africa markets and providing crucial operational support to the Group’s Senior Vice President for Markets.

Prior to his return to MTN, Blewett served as the Chief Operating Officer of Digicel, a testament to his extensive industry knowledge and expertise. During his previous stint at MTN, he held prominent roles such as CEO of MTN Benin and MTN Cameroon, contributing significantly to the growth and success of these operations over a seven-year period.
