“Sadio Mane Positioned to Lead a French Club as Cristiano Ronaldo’s Teammate Outlines Retirement Blueprint”

SADIO MANE is set to complete the takeover of a French fourth-tier side as he sets out his retirement plan, a report claims.

The Liverpool legend is scoring goals left, right and centre for Saudi side Al-Nassr alongside new team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mane is currently playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr

But, with retirement looming on the 31-year-old, Mane is ready to put his £650,000 weekly wage to good use.

And the Senegalese winger is ready to buy Championnat National 2 club Bourges Foot 18, according to La Journal Du Centre.

Initial talks between Mane and the Bourges Foot president Cheikh Sylla are said to have taken place two years ago, when the club was formed.

Now the report says the 120-goal Liverpool hero is ready to become a major stakeholder at the Bourges-based club.

The announcement of Mane’s takeover of the club is scheduled to take place on October 25th at Bourges town hall.

They have endured a tough start to the term and currently sit 13th in Group B of the Championnat National 2.

But things could soon look up under Mane’s ownership.

Mane spent six years at the Reds after arriving from Southampton in 2016 and scored 120 goals in 269 appearances under Jurgen Klopp.

He won six major trophies with the club including the Champions League and Premier League.

In 2022 the Senegalese star made a move to Bayern Munich but endured a difficult time with the Bundesliga giants.

The 31-year-old was slapped with a £436,000 fine after allegedly punching team-mate Leroy Sane in the dressing room following their Champions League defeat to Man City.

Mane then opted for a move to the Gulf state in the summer to join football icon Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.

He has since bagged eight goals in 18 matches for the Riyadh-based club.
