Piesie Esther expressed her desire for Black Sherif to collaborate with her on creating Gospel music.

Piesie Esther, a Ghanaian gospel musician, has stated her desire that compatriot artiste Black Sherif will join the gospel music community.

She believes that if the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year responds to her request, his singing prowess will go a long way toward improving evangelism.

Despite the fact that Black Sherif is a Muslim, this is the case.

On Monday, May 8, 2023, Piesie Esther was interviewed on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show.

Piesie Esther lost the Artiste of the Year prize to Blacko during the weekend ceremony.

“He has that kind of commanding voice.” I adore his tone of speaking. “I hope he will come and join me in gospel someday,” she said.

On the show, she expressed her appreciation for the 21-year-old and praised his efforts throughout the year.

As a result, she stated that she was open to whoever won the night’s grand prize. “I told myself that whatever happened, I would be fine with it.”

Piesie Esther won the VGMA Gospel Artiste of the Year award, defeating other well-known gospel performers such as Joe Mettle, Perez Muzik, Diana Hamilton, Celestine Donkor, and MOG Music. Her hit song “Waye Me Yie” also earned her the Best Gospel Song award.
