Jordan Ayew Reveals Bold New Look, Goes Bald Like Brother Andre

Accra, May 2024 – Ghana and Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew has unveiled a striking new look, going bald just like his older brother Andre Ayew. The 32-year-old, who has typically kept his hair intact, showcased his fresh trim in a video shared by the Ayew family spokesperson, Fiifi Tackie, on X.

Fiifi Tackie highlighted the significance of Jordan’s new style, noting, “Jordan Ayew has followed in the footsteps of his legendary father, Abedi Pele, and joined the esteemed ranks of Ghanaian footballers who sport the iconic ‘Santo’ haircut style. He’s in good company, alongside his brother Andre Ayew and Stephen Appiah.”

Jordan’s decision to go bald comes after a commendable season in the Premier League, where he played a key role in helping Crystal Palace maintain their top-flight status. Despite a reduction in game time following the managerial change from Roy Hodgson to Oliver Glasner, Jordan managed to score four goals and provide eight assists in all competitions, with seven assists coming in the Premier League.

His performance earned him the distinction of being the Ghanaian player with the second-most assists in the English top flight, just one behind West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus, who tallied eight assists.

Both Jordan and Mohammed Kudus are expected to feature in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The Black Stars will face Mali in Bamako on June 6 before hosting the Central African Republic (CAR) at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi four days later. Ghana coach Otto Addo is set to announce his squad for these crucial matches later this week.

As Jordan Ayew embraces his new look, fans and teammates alike will be watching to see if his bold change in style brings a fresh spark to his performances on the pitch.
