Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has described Jordan Ayew as one of the most reliable and consistent players in his team.
He said the Ghana international is a player who can be relied on to give 100% whenever he steps on the pitch.
Roy Hodgson stated, “He unquestionably ranks among the most dependable and consistently performing players we have. You can always count on him to deliver 100% in both his attacking and defensive contributions.”
Hodgson further commented, “As players tend to do, as they gain experience and age, they bring additional dimensions to their game, which makes them even better. Jordan has had a very promising start to the season, and if we can maintain his performance over the course of 38 games, we will be highly pleased.”
Jordan Ayew recently extended his contract with Crystal Palace, securing his stay at the club until the summer of 2025. The 32-year-old has been a valued member of the Eagles since 2018 and has continued to evolve as a key player.
In the 2023/24 season, Ayew has made a strong start, contributing a goal and three assists in various competitions. Crystal Palace officially announced the contract extension on November 1, 2023, with a statement confirming the extension until 2025.
In response to the contract extension, Ayew expressed his deep attachment to Crystal Palace, referring to it as his home. He expressed immense pride in wearing the club’s jersey and highlighted the unique bond with the fans. Ayew said, “It feels fantastic. Everyone knows how much I cherish this club. I take great pride every time I don the Palace jersey; this club is my home, and signing a new contract reaffirms that. Everything about Crystal Palace is special, especially the fans. They are our 12th man. There isn’t a more passionate and supportive fanbase in the league; you’re with us from the first minute to the final whistle.”
