Ghanaian comedian and entertainer, Funny Face, found himself at the center of a dramatic scene today as reports emerged of a car accident involving the beloved personality.
The incident occurred at Kakraba Junction in Kasoa, sending shockwaves through the community.
Fortunately, Funny Face emerged from the ordeal unscathed, but the same cannot be said for three pedestrians and two motorcyclists who were unfortunate victims of the collision. Eyewitnesses, grappling with the aftermath, suggest that alcohol may have played a role, speculating that Funny Face was driving under the influence.
One eyewitness, who recounted the chaotic scene to UTV, shared chilling details of the accident. “I came to park a car and as soon as I got out of the car, I realized the car had knocked down someone so I went in to check and it was Funny Face. He knocked down three people, one woman and two kids before knocking down another two motor riders. The crash was very serious. You can see my jeans trousers have been stained with blood,” the witness expressed, painting a vivid picture of the tragedy.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, swiftly transporting the injured parties to the hospital for urgent medical attention. Reports indicate that among the victims is a young boy whose condition is described as critical, adding a somber tone to the already distressing situation.
Despite the gravity of the incident, authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the circumstances surrounding the accident, leaving many questions unanswered and the community on edge. As investigations unfold, the aftermath of this harrowing event serves as a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of road safety.
