As Botswana’s first-ever Olympic gold medallist, Tebogo is set to receive an impressive array of rewards. The government has promised the 21-year-old sprinter a luxurious four-bedroom house and a $75,000 cash prize as a token of appreciation for his stellar performance. 

But the rewards don’t stop there. Tebogo is also guaranteed $3,600 for reaching the finals of both the 100m and 200m races, and he is expected to receive an additional $260,000 from various private institutions in recognition of his achievements.

Moreover, Tebogo and the other members of Botswana’s silver-winning 4x400m relay team have been promised houses by the government, further underscoring the country’s gratitude and admiration for their contributions.
